LIVE Talks is a series of free online workshops and talks (with a focus on EDI, sustainability and wellbeing) aimed at making the UK live music industry an inclusive, enlightened and positive place in which to build your career.

The series of free workshops and talks will take place online throughout 2023, specifically programmed to run alongside important dates in the ED&I and Sustainability calendar. The programme builds on the success of LIVE’s first two workshops which took place in June & Nov 2022, in partnership with Black Lives in Music, AFEM & Safer Dance. The workshops saw over 350 people come together to learn the basics of Race and Ethnicity language and join the conversation around Misogyny and Sexual Harassment within the music industry.

We believe that LIVE Talks can make a really positive contribution to people’s experiences of working in the live music industry. The LIVE Workforce group has identified a number of topics that would benefit from discussion and knowledge share. Looking ahead, LIVE is keen to open up its platform to other fantastic organisations.
