LIVE Insights, is a carefully curated research programme that seeks to offer thought leadership and insight on issues impacting UK live music.  Research covers our audiences, our people and our wider contribution to the UK economy.

Designed to provide an impartial perspective as to how live music shapes, and is shaped by, our society and economy.  LIVE Insights help policymakers to understand our industry, what makes it valuable, and how that value can be maximised to the benefit of everyone who contributes to the UK economy. Building rigorous datasets is instrumental to our advocacy work, whether that’s pushing for a reduction in VAT on tickets, improved EU touring arrangements or stronger legislation safeguarding freelancers against workplace harassment.

Recent work has focussed on the changing patterns of audience behaviour and how our industry has comeback post-lockdown. We are delighted to share this research output, always for free, below.
